ANKOE (Austrian Register for Tenderers)

The awarding of contracts for constructional and technical services, which were put out to tender by Burghauptmannschaft Österreich, shall be carried out exclusively via ANKÖ.

What is ANKÖ?

The Austrian Register for Tenderers (ANKÖ) was established in its current form in 1999. It emerged from the City of Vienna's cadastre as an independent institute in the course of the spin-off and is now active throughout Austria.

As a non-profit association, it is the result of efforts to find a suitable qualification system for assessing the suitability of firms in the traditional field of public procurement. ANKÖ supports Austrian contracting authorities as well as companies (applicants, bidders, subcontractors) in the practical implementation of procurement procedures.
