Therefore, the Austrian Academy of Science decided to carry out thorough interdisciplinary research, the result of which has been published in five impressive books, which let the Imperial Palace appear in a completely new light.
This magnificent volume about the Palace summarises in an unparalleled and compact way the latest findings about the Palace’s history, from when the complex came into being in the 13th century up to the present day. It contains opulent illustrations.
