Memorial Site, Mauthausen Concentration Camp (Towers)

Burghauptmannschaft Österreich worked in coordination with the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments on the renovation of the watchtowers at the concentration camp memorial site.

The work was successfully completed. 

The renovation work on watchtowers A, B, C, D, E and F at the Mauthausen concentration camp memorial site had been ongoing since 2020. 

The extensive work on the towers was completed on schedule in 2021. Work on the sanitary facilities in towers D and E was also completed.
